Welcome To EarthAngels

EarthAngels is a non-profit organization that promotes organ, blood and tissue donation. EarthAngels was started in March of 2003 in memory of Allison Barkyoumb, a close friend that passed away while waiting for a heart transplant.

We are dedicated to public education and community involvement regarding organ, blood, and tissue donation. Through the distribution of educational brochures, donor cards, and our documentary, we aim to educate people on donor awareness and to answer any questions so that they can make the decision that is right for them.

We hold an annual dance benefit to share our story and raise money to promote donation. Check out our events page for more in-depth information about past events and to see what we are planning to do next.

Our personal experience taught us that there is a shortage of donors. Almost 100,000 people are on the national waiting list for organ transplants and there are not nearly enough donors. We learned that many people are simply unaware of the importance of being a donor. We hope that by telling our story we can change that awareness and make a difference in other people's lives, just as Allison did in ours.
